Last modified on July 13th, 2023 at 11:03 am Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, I feel an overwhelming sense of satisfaction and gratitude since the assumption of the duty as Principal of the institution. It has been an incredible journey filled with learning, growth, and inspiring experiences. As we embark on a path to shape the future of technical education, it is important to reflect upon the rich engineering heritage of our great nation. From the ancient times of India, where magnificent structures and techniques stand as a testament to the brilliance of our engineers, to the modern era that we are a part of today, engineering has always been at the forefront of progress. Throughout history, we have witnessed the remarkable impact of great inventors and visionaries who have transformed the world with their innovations. Individuals like James Watt, whose steam engine revolutionized industry; Graham Bell, whose invention of the telephone connected people across vast distances; Ramanujan, whose mathematical genius still baffles the world; and Larry Page, whose creation of Google changed the way we access information in this modern era. These individuals have not only left an indelible mark on human civilization but also inspire us to push the boundaries of what is possible. In the realm of modern Indian technological advancements, we cannot forget the profound influence of the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. His visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to innovation have propelled our nation’s progress. As he famously said, “Dream, dream, dream. Dreams transform into thoughts, and thoughts result in action.” It is this spirit of dreaming big and taking action that we must instill in our students, empowering them to become the architects of India’s future. Looking ahead, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism for the future of Government Polytechnic Dhamlawas. I promise to leverage my personal expertise, wisdom, and knowledge to upscale our institute in the next two years or so. Together, we will create an environment that nurtures creativity, fosters innovation, and equips our students with the skills they need to excel in the ever-evolving technological landscape. I invite all of you to join me on this exciting journey. Let us work together to unlock the limitless potential within ourselves and create a legacy that will inspire generations to come. Remember, as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam once said, “You have to dream before your dreams can come true.“ Thanks all for your unwavering support, dedication, and hard work which is phenomenal in shaping Government Polytechnic Dhamlawas into a vibrant and thriving institution. Jai Hind!Dr. Ravin Ahuja, Ph. D. (Cloud Computing)
