Admission Procedure

Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) conducts the admission process for Diploma in Engineering courses in the state. Admissions are primarily based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10th class). 

Eligibility Criteria:

For Diploma in Engineering (3-Year Course):

  • Passed 10th examination from the Board of School Education, Haryana, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.  
     
  • Minimum of 35% marks in the qualifying examination (33% for SC/ST/Kashmiri Migrants categories).
  • Must have passed in Mathematics and Science subjects in the 10th grade.

For Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry – 2 Year Course):

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. 
     
  • OR Passed 10th + (2 years ITI) with a relevant trade.
  • OR NSQF Level 4 qualification in a relevant course.
