Code of conduct for faculty

General Conduct
- Faculty members must be punctual and remain on campus during working hours.
- Professional and cooperative behavior is expected at all times.
- Engaging in rude or abusive behavior, negative comments about colleagues, or personal verbal attacks is prohibited.
- Faculty should protect and maintain institute property and are prohibited from offering private tuitions.
- Confidentiality must be maintained; unauthorized sharing of information is not allowed.
Academic Responsibilities:
- Diligently fulfill teaching, research, consultancy, and administrative duties with honesty and commitment.
- Attend meetings and activities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), Coordinators, or Principal.
- Complete evaluation tasks for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE) promptly.
- Be available to students beyond class hours for academic support.
- Treat students with respect and foster a respectful learning environment.
- Arrive prepared for classes, focusing on the designated curriculum, and maintain accurate records of lesson plans and related documents.
- Use diverse teaching methods, including visual and activity-based learning, and incorporate technology like PowerPoint presentations when appropriate.
- Advises and counsels students on academic matters such as course registration and withdrawals.
