Code of conduct for faculty

General Conduct
Faculty members must be punctual and remain on campus during working hours.​
Professional and cooperative behavior is expected at all times.​
Engaging in rude or abusive behavior, negative comments about colleagues, or personal verbal attacks is prohibited.​
Faculty should protect and maintain institute property and are prohibited from offering private tuitions.​
Confidentiality must be maintained; unauthorized sharing of information is not allowed.​
Academic Responsibilities:
Diligently fulfill teaching, research, consultancy, and administrative duties with honesty and commitment.​
Attend meetings and activities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), Coordinators, or Principal.
Complete evaluation tasks for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE) promptly.​
Be available to students beyond class hours for academic support.​
Treat students with respect and foster a respectful learning environment.​
Arrive prepared for classes, focusing on the designated curriculum, and maintain accurate records of lesson plans and related documents.​
Use diverse teaching methods, including visual and activity-based learning, and incorporate technology like PowerPoint presentations when appropriate.
Advises and counsels students on academic matters such as course registration and withdrawals.
