Code of conduct for faculty

General Conduct
Faculty members must be punctual and remain on campus during working hours.
Professional and cooperative behavior is expected at all times.
Engaging in rude or abusive behavior, negative comments about colleagues, or personal verbal attacks is prohibited.
Faculty should protect and maintain institute property and are prohibited from offering private tuitions.
Confidentiality must be maintained; unauthorized sharing of information is not allowed.
Academic Responsibilities:
Diligently fulfill teaching, research, consultancy, and administrative duties with honesty and commitment.
Attend meetings and activities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), Coordinators, or Principal.
Complete evaluation tasks for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE) promptly.
Be available to students beyond class hours for academic support.
Treat students with respect and foster a respectful learning environment.
Arrive prepared for classes, focusing on the designated curriculum, and maintain accurate records of lesson plans and related documents.
Use diverse teaching methods, including visual and activity-based learning, and incorporate technology like PowerPoint presentations when appropriate.
Advises and counsels students on academic matters such as course registration and withdrawals.
