General Conduct

  • Faculty members must be punctual and remain on campus during working hours.
  • Professional and cooperative behavior is expected at all times.
  • Engaging in rude or abusive behavior, negative comments about colleagues, or personal verbal attacks is prohibited.
  • Faculty should protect and maintain institute property and are prohibited from offering private tuitions.
  • Confidentiality must be maintained; unauthorized sharing of information is not allowed.

Academic Responsibilities

  • Diligently fulfill teaching, research, consultancy, and administrative duties with honesty and commitment.
  • Attend meetings and activities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), Coordinators, or Principal.
  • Complete evaluation tasks for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE) promptly.
  • Be available to students beyond class hours for academic support.
  • Treat students with respect and foster a respectful learning environment.
  • Arrive prepared for classes, focusing on the designated curriculum, and maintain accurate records of lesson plans and related documents.
  • Use diverse teaching methods, including visual and activity-based learning, and incorporate technology like PowerPoint presentations when appropriate.
  • Advises and counsels students on academic matters such as course registration and withdrawals.
